This story was credited as the inspiration for one on AO3, so I went looking and oh boy, - amazing! The characters just jump of the page. The dialogue is so snappy and delicious to read, and the white-hot intensity of the intimate scenes is going to have my mind replaying them over and over for the foreseeable future until I have the privilege of reading this story again. Thank you!

4xfS5m You made some decent points there. I looked on the internet for the subject and found most people will go along with with your site.

Just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the down-to earth touches you leave scattered through your work. In this case, I most espectially love the last few paragraphs, and the ending line.

I loved the banter/role-play in this fic. And it was seriously hot.

*shaking head* I know it's been ages since you posted this, but I'm new to the fandom so you'll have to forgive me. :)
When I first watched The See Paris and Die Affair, I was initially delighted by the chemistry between Napoleon and Illya, and then furious with Napoleon for his treatment of Illya at the end. But it grew on me anyway, and now I love finding fics that play to the good chemistry in that episode.
And this definitely does that. :) I hadn't realized that Javert was a character in Les Miserables until I read your fic. That was fun (I always love learning new stuff). But, most of all, I loved Napoleon's parting comment about homosexual behavior not being that rare. It's great to see Napoleon's brashness offset Illya's fatalistic streak, especially when it comes to their happiness together. Oh, and the fic was very sexy! ;) You have a knack for that.
Thanks so much for writing and sharing!

I love you, Cord. I just love you. I love your writing style, I love your I/N, I love your plot sense and characterizations - even this so called PWP is rich with plot. You are my very favorite UNCLE writer.
