What a great story. I love the original way you included innocents in the story by giving Illya his own little mystery and also the way you included real places in New York, which made the story seem almost real.
There is a recent book (2017 in English) of interviews with Russian women who fought during World War II. It is a terrific read and offers great insight into the culture and its people: " The Unwomanly Face of War: An Oral History of Women in World War II" by Svetlana Alexievich.

This was a very well written story. I thought the dialog between Illya and Napoleon was totally in character. Thanks for sharing.

This was great! I love how Napoleon took such good care of Illya---washing his hair and comforting him---so sweet! I love Illya's insecurities. So often in the show he is seen as being so sure of himself--a bit cocky. I loved how he needed reassurance from Napoleon. Poor Leslie never stood a chance!
Thanks!

Great story! Angst and humour. I like the way you write Illya and Napoleon. UNCLE agents with a human side. Poor Illya, I could easily understand how he would be a bit insecure about Napoleon's affections given N's track record with the ladies. I liked how he kept blurting things out despite his best intentions not to ask.
